The lyrics to ‘Was a Friend’ by Robert Wyatt include the line ‘quietly I rose to fill the morning pee pot’ and not, as I had thought, ‘silently I rose to feed the morning peacock’
You come at the Queen, you best not miss.

So his guess is less likely than your guess?

Right.

My guess is based upon loads of precedent and human nature. I am guessing that with many billions to be had during a health emergency drug companies large and small will do their best to get that money into their mitts.

Meanwhile the Chinese are importing from Cuba some interferon drug which is supposedly helpful - and probably cheap. At the same time the US and friends are boycotting Cuba so our friends in big pharma can hopefully stumble upon some kind of money-making drug of their own.

But you said the whole thing was horseshit Jimbo, but now you're saying Big Pharma are selling the likely vaccines... for a disease that doesn't exist?

Right.

Yeah, though a contradiction I knew I should have added that I still think it's horseshit but left it off maybe to see if you were paying attention. And good for you DD. You are sharp. But I have been saying I am following a few differnt angles including the presumable official angle, the bio-weapon angle, the "patient zero is American" angle, the Iran-China as US enemies angle, the globalist takeover angle and the horseshit angle.

The main hiccup I see is still the testing. Go ahead and Google coronavirus test reliability and you will not find any answer which is satisfactory, i.e.: "Of course, every patient we say has the virus was tested with the ABC test and the test showed they have the virus."

Could be the virus is a magician's diversion and hopefully in April when whatever Ocean's Eleven Royal Scam they are pulling is in place and my gym will reopen.

Ooh, here's an angle I missed.

...the role of propaganda and the media in trying to influence the re-election of Donald Trump by tying his leadership to a global pandemic. Propaganda in these cases seeks to diminish people’s view of a leader’s competence. The ultimate goal is to get you to vote him out. https://wemeantwell.com/blog/2020/03/09 ... ronavirus/

To prove the point this article does acknowledge the virus is real but cleverly compares the low key media reportage around how Obama handled the swine flu compared to the panicky reportage surrounding Trump's handling of a similar situation.

And i just learned this.

Relax and don't fear the reaper friends.

... here is a partial list of other diseases that since 2003 we were told loudly and repeatedly would become pandemics and decimate the human race. Diseases to be very afraid of since they were coming for you if you weren’t very vigilant and forgot to wash your hands.

2005 Avian Flu
2009 Swine Flu
2012 West Nile Virus
2014 Ebola

Just got another coronavirus debunking from Jon Rappaport who is sticking to his guns as far as the actuality of this particular virus causing this world-wide mayhem (including the closing of my sports gym) titled "How Many People Have Coronavirus?". One of his things is the unreliability of the tests, the PCR test. And if the tests are unreliable then all the info regarding how many cases you read about are wrong. WRONG. https://blog.nomorefakenews.com/2020/03 ... ronavirus/

Then I Googled "Is the PCR Test Reliable?" Google it yourselves if you think I'm nuts or, god forbid, you are skeptical of the info from the media and our governments. The first article to appear is from Science News which is not reassuring about these tests. There is this quote from the guy who knows:
To get a more complete picture of how widespread the virus is in the United States, “we’re going to need millions and millions and millions of tests,” said Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases in Bethesda, Md.
Okay, Dr. Fauci, so how do you come up with numbers which trigger the official "pandemic" designation. You don't know. You see patients with pneumonia and but presume they have THE virus. But, as Jon says, pneumonia has many different causes. https://www.sciencenews.org/article/cor ... ted-states

The symptoms of pneumonia are simply not the same as coronavirus.

Here's the stats today - More than 167,000 people are known to be infected and over 6,400 deaths have been recorded.

The key here, which you are completely unable to grasp, is that those numbers are quite clearly the very lowest totals. Because, oddly enough, there aren't enough testing kits to see how many people have the virus. It's as simple as that. No matter how much you and your conspiracy friends want to muddy the waters - this virus is so dangerous not because of its virulence but because it is so contagious. There is a potential five day lag between even displaying the symptoms and transmitting the virus. So people are walking around feeling absolutely fine, with no outward sign of any issues, spreading the virus to many many others. And so on and so on.

You just keep burying your head in the sand. And displaying your normal cavalier approach to the truth.

Another reason CoVid is so dangerous is the deliberate spreading of misinformation and sowing of panic by ignorant attention-seekers who really should know better.

I take it you're replying to Dimbo.

Two things to point out:
Firstly, the experts at the WHO and elsewhere aren't stupid and they have a lot of experiencing calculating these things. 'Windmill tilter' and his 'sources' think they're the only people to notice that we don't know for sure how many people are infected and everyone else is stupid and is doing bad maths. The rest of us know who the stupid ones really are.
Secondly, the virus IS also dangerous because of its virulence. Most serious calculations have it as ten times more lethal than flu. It's an estimation and no-one except BCB Fool No. 1 and his fellow idiots is pretending otherwise, but this estimate is widely agreed upon and is certainly more likely to be correct than anything a bunch of conspiracy theorists with an unscientific agenda are going to come up with.
Bugger off.

The question of its virulence is difficult to forecast because the numbers infected are probably so many times that which we know - therefore the % of fatalities will be significantly reduced once those numbers become apparent. I'm not in anyway under-estimating the fatalities, Tym.

Jimbo, I sincerely hope that you are correct . SIGH .. I doubt if your gym (in Japan or anywhere else) will open in April.

Goodlife Fitness makes 'difficult but important decision' to close all clubs amid COVID-19 outbreak

https://www.cp24.com/news/goodlife-fitn ... -1.4854413

The biggest gym chain in Canada has decided to close all of its locations amid a growing COVID-19 outbreak that has dramatically altered daily life.

In a statement issued late Sunday night, CEO David Patchell-Evans said that the gym chain has made the “difficult but important decision” to close all of its GoodLife Fitness and Fit4Less Clubs in an attempt to limit the spread of the virus.

The decision comes one day after the YMCA announced that it would close all of its health and fitness centres. So far LA Fitness, which also operates a large number of gyms in the GTA, remains open.

Wanna bet? In China, Japan and Iran the numbers are evening out and deaths are going down. Italy is troubling but not much worse than bad flu/pneumonia season. My gym's closing was originally up to March 15 and then bumped up to April 1. I'm hoping the notice on my gym's door is what is needed to stop this thing until the next unnecessary panic.

BTW, if old people and the already ill are the virus' main victims how come the vast majority of us need to shut ourselves in? Shut in the old and ill and let the rest of us free. We'll wash our hands and do other reasonable things. We promise.

Jimbo ~ I sincerely hope that you are correct and that things have leveled off ... anywhere. i believe that this might've been possible if most countries had been as quick off the mark as Israel and Poland and a few others. This is a nightmare.

A likely reason why Covid19 (pneumonia) is being blamed for the high Italian illness and death rates.
