I've sold him records years ago in Glasgow, and saw him recently in Marks and Spencers .

When he’s not acting, he sells antiques. I was browsing his stall at an antique fair once when someone came up to him to compliment him on his performance on a TV show that had been broadcast the previous week. Pettifer was totally dismissive and unpleasant to the poor guy.

Not the first unpleasant gash on this site ...

Teaching English today to a lady real estate agent preparing an English questionnaire to deal with foreign clients and she asked me if an apartment's location is important to foreigners, meaning, after I probed a bit, its feng shui location. I told her probably not and so she eliminated the question from the questionnaire which she was patterning from a Japanese form. I then asked her if she believed in it and she said she did and that did I know the layout of Tokyo, formerly Edo, was based on it. The Yamanote train line runs in a circle around the main part of the city. The Imperial Palace is in the center of the circle. The circle is then bisected by the Chuo train line but the line does a dipsy-doodle around the palace that creates a yin-yang effect.
Question authority.

Today I learnt that a senior manager with Royal Mail Group Operations believes that all postmen/women actually work a six day week as per norm.

Well I'll be FUCKED!!

Yet another deliberately provocative post gets the exact response expected - an argument- and then gets turned so it's the intended audiences fault for responding.

Ho hum. Who knew.
