Not dead then.
It was raining when we drove up the two-lane highway through the long tunnel of trees that led into the black district on the south end of St. Martinville.

My Mum and Dad saw him in Ayr before he was famous. He died on his arse apparently. The support act, Twistin' Jocky Steel and The Steeltones were brilliant though.

Alas.

While Stan Boardman walks the earth Tarby will always only be the second most annoying, unfunny, scouse wanker 'comedian' alive, but that is a pretty mean achievement when you consider the competition.
Without any merit whatsoever.

When my Gran was in hospital, circa 1965, the nurses thought I looked like a young Tarby.

Of course, he was handsome - and funny - back then.

Besides, I thought I was more of a dark-haired Brian Jones.

I was thinking more Sylvester Stallone playing Hamlet.....

About 35 years ago I pulled into a petrol station near Woking, Surrey and Tarbuck was filling up his Rolls Royce.

The number plate was COM IC.

I thought that was a contradiction in terms

Tell joke; tell punchline; walk left/right saying, "now do you know...?" as though you are starting a new joke; pause as you realise the audience is still laughing from the previous joke; slowly turn your head to the audience and crack a wry, cheeky grin.

That is the Tarby way.

He did sire Liza Tarbuck, though, who has always been rather sexy, i reckon. Probably a kopite, like.
