I'll have the hot, buttered one, please.
And if I come in on a donkey, let me go out on a gurney

The lady looks like the young Tony Curtis in drag and she's smoking.
I can't play the trumpet.
So, the toasted & buttered bread-type foodstuff has it, by a greasy mile.

yumski!

I voted for the trumpet.

The woman looks like a man and crumpets are chewy.

But I play in a band with lots of trumpets and so I - alone so far - voted for the trumpet.

I'll take the trumpet. Smoking chicks just don't do it for me anymore, and I've already had breakfast.

I used to play trumpet when I was young, but then I got braces on my teeth, so that was it for me. I wonder if I can get the ol' emboucher back...

The strumpet looks pissed off,
the trumpet looks more like a cornet,
the crumpet is mouth watering.
Oh boy is it getting rough, when my old world charm isn't quite enough.

I'm going for the trumpet. I'm almost genetically predisposed to like a song if it features a trumpet.

The woman has nice eyes, but the rest of her looks like a bloke in drag, and the cigarette in her gob just makes me feel ill. Trumpets are for jazz and other shite music. So it's the crumpet. But I don't really like them either.

What a shit poll that was.

Joan Crawford before her cosmetic surgery is a bit jarring to see. But I'd still take her.

I love tough as nails molls like early Crawford, though, her cigarette would probably trigger my asthma and have me reaching for my inhaler. If Hook is right and it is indeed a cornet I'll go with Crawford, but if it is a trumpet it really depends on who is behind it: I'll take Lee Morgan over just about anything- Chuck Mangione is a different story.

It's definitely a trumpet. A cornet is a lot shorter. That pic's just at a funny angle.

Does that help?

I've just learn that Chuck was playing the flugelhorn on that ubiquitous song from my youth, so I'll go with the trumpet.
