the weather people here are saying "at least" a foot if not more! i have not bothered to shovel the back of the house as it is surrounded by over a foot of snow. i was hoping it would melt a bit but no chance of that happening any time soon.

I've been shoveling so much the last few days at my parents' house, I've almost become accustomed to it. (My 78 year old dad has been doing more of it than me, though, bless him.)

Yeah, I've noticed that he paces himself more than he used to. He seems to have a pretty good internal gauge for when it's time to knock off.
