All the best Googa, I'm glad you have found a place here and I hope you have plenty of days in the sun left

Thanks, trans-chigley express. Yes, I intend to stick around, never been happier on the board than I am now.

Very sorry to hear this Googs. However ...
A friend of mine had something very similar: bowel cancer that had moved on to his liver. It was stage 4 when they first noticed it so it certainly looked like the end.
However, he had all the relevant treatment and they actually nearly got rid of it. Annoyingly, it came back and they couldn't clear it from one part of his liver. He now has a new liver and hopefully can live a long and healthy life.
Perhaps you don't need to give up hope yet.

Thanks Rorshach - I find it strange that they haven't mentioned a liver transplant as an option at all, but perhaps it is a last option.

It certainly was the last option in my friend's case. A lot of people want them and it's not easy to find a compatible one apparently. They only offered him that option after everything else had failed, and then he had to wait months and never be far from the hospital while he was waiting, in case they called him in.
Bugger off.

Well, let's not go mad, eh.

As this can be read in any number of ways, it makes a clever riposte impossible.

Sorry, doesn't compute. You see, HE could be anyone.

(But if you mean Copehead, I am glad to see him active here again. The more the merrier. Or something.)

This is all too cryptic. I've never had issues with the man. I am always happy to see good people return to BCB. I am going to put on some Four Tops now, any suggestions?

It was more along the lines of "I Can't Help Myself"...
