I was finally shoehorned into getting a Smart Meter for my fuel use in conjunction with meter replacement. Was I the last person in the country to do so ?
My electric meter was antediluvian and they replaced the gas meter too, about 3 weeks ago. Very surprised at how much a 40+celsius clothes wash used.
The two technicians had driven down first thing from Liverpool and Sheffield respectively. There was no one nearer, such is the cost of renting and home owning in London.
