‘Blind Truss’

Just realised this is (satirist) Rosie Holt. It's so hard to tell what's real and what's spoof these days!
I've been talking about writing a book - 25 years of TEFL - for a few years now. I've got it in me.

Apparently Kwarteng will be sacked later today.

We really need a general election.

I guess this will happen, because it seems inevitable.

There is a natural limit to the number of possible U-turns. Truss & co. painted themselves into a corner.

It has become farcical.
On the whole, I'd rather be in Wallenpaupack.

Liz Truss says "mistakes have been made".

Note the careful use of the passive voice.

We can't have a general election because it would be undemocratic for the opposition party to only have 20 odd seats! Very dangerous for democracy!!

This was the argument I heard from a tory MP yesterday
What he didn't seem to have considered is that it would make the Lib Dems on 50 odd seats the opposition.
