Not sure we can get it in Denmark. But I enjoyed it back in Tokyo. There was an American grocery store in Copenhagen before, but it closed when the owner died. The owner was the gospel singer Etta Cameron.

I haven't seen any in Toronto. Sara Lee doesn't have much of a market here or at least in the supermarkets that I frequent. Growing up, my parents usually kept a Sara Lee Coffee Cake and/or a Sara Lee Cheesecake in the freezer in case unexpected company dropped by. I haven't seen their coffee cakes or cheese cakes for a long time but it could just be my area.

Totally with you. The main good thing about them was their immediate readiness. Pepperidge Farms was another with usually simpler concoctions like basic chocolate cake with chocolate icing. Plain, dry and very sweet. As far as I know, they have disappeared from Montreal shelves as well, although I haven't looked for any for decades now.
