I have a feeling it'll be a while before I get mine over here. We have shortages of doses, I'm too young (60!!) and in fairly good health - let's not get into this here, I do have my issues. Still, I'm anxiously waiting for my time. I'm one of the reported 60% of people here in favor of a jab right now rather than wait and see. 40% want to wait and see or are just completely against the idea? Really??!?!)

Well, I’m not too keen on having a microchip implanted but I suppose that’s the price one must pay

Man who apologies for not knowing the full facts then goes after the same poster on a different board the following day or so. Gets all sanctimonious when said poster gives a bit back.
I hope your Mum gets the jab soon.

I didn’t realise you were that old. I’m going to have to wait ‘till the end of March, early April.
Do you know which year that will be ?

I'm sure I'll be waiting at least a few more months (although I do business with one of the hospitals so could get one thru them)
My sis in law, brother and dad have all been jabbed. Dad twice.
sadly was talking to the hospital I do business with- all their workers were asked to get the shot 35% turned it down. pathetic.
Also have a friend who never thought would be one not to want it, I told her see you in a few years.

Extraordinary.
Most of the reading that I have done in depth about the tragedy of the early NY deaths (which you will know all about) centred around the huge volume of the poor, service industry, undocumented people who all kept on going in and going in to work to try and stay alive knowing they had no other choice. Their stories were awful to read. They were shovelled into the furnace of the economy like expendable coal to burn. It makes me feel sick to think of it and I’m astonished at people who when they have the opportunity to take it, don’t.
The first to die never had the choice.

Willie Nelson just got his jab!
Having said that, he hasn’t posted on BCB since he had that terrible row with Tapiocahead about gravy.
