I've kept all my champagne corks from memorable occasions for the last 15 years (anniversaries, friend's visits, whatever) and written on the corks what the occasion was and I have them in a huge drawer. The idea was at some point I could tell the story of my life from all the "fun times" just by reaching into the drawer. I am sure a future hepatologist will refer to this drawer as "evidence."
