Al Jazeera

Postby Rorschach » 03 Feb 2020, 13:04

Does anyone here watch Al Jazeera news?
Is it even possible in the States?

It's my favourite television news source. I know they have dodgy money behind them but any organisation that gets the Saudi Arabian and Egyptian governments demanding it be closed down can't be all bad.
I find it more even handed than the likes of the BBC or any of the channels we have here in Catalonia/Spain. And it has a lot of interesting in-depth reports.

Anyone else have an opinion?
Bugger off.

I've got Al Jazeera and Russia Today as apps on AppleTV but I can't say I watch them much.

As anyone who's spent tine in Saudi Arabia and watched the TV there will know, even shows as anodyne as This Morning with Holly and Phil would be classed as being dangerously subversive.
