Long may he pontificate on the “edgy” preludin forum. Come to think of it, I can’t think of any of those I actually miss.

I mean, even G was a bit boring.

Bit bemused by Positive Passion's post. The poster has only been here just over two years, and I for just five, so where does the 'years ago' and 'many years ago' thing come from? I don't remember the 'self-agrandisement' thread, although if it were that long ago, I probably would have pointed out the misspelling. And the terrible aim, since it missed me completely.

I'm always happy for people who don't like my on-line schtick to ignore me completely, of course: it's what I do when people have a go at me, warranted or otherwise, so bye bye Mr PP.

It's "misspelling" and "online" by the way, unless you were being ironic.

I prefer steely, on the whole ;)

The on-line thing is a relic of British usage: you see off-line quite often too.
Mis-spelling was a straight out stoned mistake, probably because I have an aversion to that double s as a result of an s-ending prefixP: I read it as Miss-pelling. It's jarring. But I'll edit to change it. Thanks, Matt.

G, you just come across like Adam C’s weedy brother. You’re one of ‘skope’s dopes, I’m afraid.

I meant to post something nice about Ray here!

I've been talking about writing a book - 25 years of TEFL - for a few years now. I've got it in me.

Rayge. Or shall we just call him Ray. Ray sucked up to the prog trolls early on.

Basked in the glow of those who should not be named.

I might have missed out on something as I don’t know soundchaser at all but what is the bins reference about?
I’m doubting it’s laughing at someone for working on the bins as that doesn’t sound like you Geraint unless something monumentally awful has happened.

It’s an insult his colleague Adam C likes to throw at me. I know you like G, but to me he is one of ‘skope’s dopes.

I’ve replied to this charge fully on the UK election thread, where Adam C was, as always, the first one to throw stones.

Fortunately, I don’t go to church. Ray started slinging the mud. Ask C if you need confirmation.
