I went for dried cranberries in the end. Let's see what happens. A project for tomorrow morning.

Now that I'm basically caught up (What in heck was I doing up at 8 on a Sunday morning, day 2 of vacation), I'll be frying/stirring up some potatoes with a couple of eggs with dried cranberries thrown in. \perhaps some toast on the side. For drinks, Methinks \i might go for the peach-flavored iced tea.

Some apple-strawberry compote followed by about 1/4 cold BBQ chicken. I had the chicken to finish it up and try to make some chicken broth from the carcass and leftover bits but I've never used BBQ chicken before. Let's see what happens. Should be salty anyway.

Not soup but the broth looks good. Packed in the freezer for future use. Might well turn out to be a soup after all, but I presently lack the fresh veggies I need for that. A bit too hot to go shopping right now, but, closer to the end of day, I'll go see what's available. They're usually well stocked in veggies where I gi, so, I'll find something.

I had 18 giant shrimp as a pre-bed snack last night. Skipping breakfast methinks. Iced tea will do me for now.

I have a couple of small things to do, then, I'm lining up a pile of bacon with assorted goodies on the side. Scrumpchious. In my province, today is a holiday, so, timing is really not an issue.

8-)
