"gubernatorial"

I like how it borrows from the Latin "gubernator", which means "governor". "Governatorial" sounds hopeless in comparison. "Governor", though, is borrowed from French. So here is a rare example of a noun with one root and the adjective with another root.

Yes! I especially like "supper", also the compound, "supper club".

I like some words that end in -tude:

altitude
longitude
solitude

...but I am not so keen on "vicissitude", and definitely not keen on "vicissitudinal", which is just showing off.

How do people feel about, 'moist'?
Sexy for some, icky for others.

My favourite Spanish word is 'chiringuito': meaning a beach bar.

bloviate - talk at length, especially in an inflated or empty way

I first saw this used in relation to our inept Prime Minister.
