Chigger, please.
Let U be the set of all united sets, K be the set of the kids and D be the set of things divided.
Then it follows that ∀ k ∈ K: K ∈ U ⇒ k ∉ D

I use an ointment called Mopidick, though I believe it’s changed it’s name now.

You must get ‘em a lot, on your walks/ runs?
We tried some advice from friends yesterday - put a baking soda paste on them. So we spread our legs with this stuff yesterday. It was very glamorous.

I get them mostly when I'm working rather than hiking as I'm often stood in one place in forested areas for a too long and that's when they get you. I use a Chinese brand of peppermint oil that is easy to get here or something with a strong citrus scent. They really hate peppermint oil and it makes you smell minty fresh too :D

That is what my family used for them back in the day. They don't seem to have chiggers n California so I haven't dealt wth them for quite some time. I'm not sure I had them as an adult but as a child they were common occurences playing outdoors in the grass.

I was talking to someone last night about chiggers and they mentioned a remedy I had forgotten about (and full disclosure never tried). They painted clear fingernail polish over the bites stating that it worked by not allowing the air to get to them. You've probably recovered by now but in case there is a next time.
