You're not saying he's a liar are you? Surely that would have been in Gordon Brown's gift anyway.

Well he would say that, wouldn't he.

:? The article is from 15 years ago. He said then he wouldn’t take a seat in the HOL and, to date, he hasn’t.

So, what’s your point? What are you supposed to be laughing at?

Anyone interested in saving Labour from/accelerating the party's swing to Momentum has until Monday to stump up the £25 for membership and a vote in the leadership election.

Yes, I think we need to at least add a caveat to Belle Lettre's statement. A Bear back rider if you will.

So Gordon Brown made peers of Andrew Adonis and Peter Mandelson and totally overlooked Blair?
You can't seriously believe that.

I keep constantly being drawn to look at Keir Starmer’s shirt collars now.
I can report that he has a checked pattern sewn into some of them.
Crisis over.

Don't make excuses for him. He is a Blairite through and through. He knows which side his bread is buttered on , and it is on the side of the man who gave him his job, and his knighthood. He is a scumbag apologist and friend a warmongering criminal and his wife. We need to see the back of scum like him, and move on.

I think She is a bit too much of a technical politician to appeal. She has some good ideas, especially getting rid of the lords and reforming the HoC. However, I suspect she is a bit too close to the catastrophic Corbyn to win. especially since she seems to be claiming credit for that pitifully weak and unappealing manifesto. I would hope it was between Jess Phillips and Pigpen if I am honest. Starmer is the least stupid of the five candidates, despite his soap dodging proclivities...

I see RLB is now getting the boot for her views on abortion because she's a Catholic.

It really is a race to the bottom for the Labour party.
