Not at all Dougie!

I was just commenting on your post. Seems perfectly reasonable to me?

I wasn't making jokes. I have had those thoughts that's why I mentioned them.

Ok, the splat comment was a joke but you get me.

Cool.

One can only imagine all the thoughts and prejudices you have my angry friend but if it makes you feel any better all those thoughts and prejudices you have are perfectly normal but that doesn't mean you can't work on the latter of course.

Take care, Dougie and remember, we all love you

That’s a completely different scenario.

You don’t need an excuse to whack a Welshman and shouldn’t feel guilty about it either.

I chickened out I'm afraid. I think if I were going to partake it would have to be one of those desiccated white shits but you don't seem to get them anymore.

One day though, Baron, one day!

Whenever I walk to the back of the plane to go to the toilet, I always think how easy it would be to just rip the emergency door open!

I always think about that. Imagine the malevolent thrill you'd experience as you just pulled the handle and everybody started screaming, "Nooooo!".

Marvellous. It's that thing of being so close to death. Do you think the apollo astronauts had similar thoughts? Buzz be like, maybe I'll just OPEN THIS HATCH RIGHT NOW

Oh yes. I do that.

And if sharing a kitchen with someone and I have a sharp knife, while I’m chopping a leek the thought goes through me that I could just turn and sever someone’s carotid.

Every one has revenge fantasies and unguarded thoughts about acting in ways that would have you locked up if you act on them but every man jack of us knows that they are just brain farts, things that your id throws up and your ego quickly squashes.

This is a man who apparently walked around for days hoping to kill an innocent Black guy with a cosh.

That is something he should have kept to himself however ashamed he is of it now, it is fucking nuts.

The idea that we should think he is brave for being honest is bizarre.

It is like wanting praise for being a Neo-nazi who got over it or a sex offender who never reoffended.

I'm hoping he didn't actually search that hard and only in the largely mono-cultural areas of downtown Ballymena rather than the Black ghettos of up town Ballymena.

Whatever it was a spectacularly stupid thing to talk about and it will probably fuck his career, can't see a long queue of Black talent waiting to work with him now and they are rather more influential in Hollywood than Albanians.

But at least Liam has started an important debate:

https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2019/feb/08/liam-neeson-john-barnes-race-bias-racism

Sadly that debate appears to be "Is it wrong to want to lynch Black people"
Nazi Punks, Nazi Punks, Nazi Punks, Fuck Off

It is absolutely nothing like either of those.
