Radiators under windows.

All that lovely warmth going straight out into the atmospheric.

Actually it makes perfect sense. Radiators use convection, and the cooler windows help to spread the heat through the room. If you have a radiator away from the window, the heat will stay in one place.

Oh okay. I always wondered why you see so many positioned there.

In a time of national catastrophe caused entirely by the ruling party of the day, being obsessed with railing against the leader of the opposition.
Like fast-moving clouds casting shadows against a hillside, the melody-loop shuddered with a sense of the sublime, the awful unknowable majesty of the world.

It makes perfect sense. His only job is to hold them to account, and he fails . he fails every day. The tories march on, unimpeded in any way by the useless leader of a non opposition.

You could've had Nelson Mandela, JFK, The Queen, David Hasselhoff, Bob Carolgees, Admiral Nelson, whoever the fuck you want as leader of the opposition. Wouldn't stop this being entirely the fault of an internal tory squabble, yet you're obsessed with abusing him, not with abusing Cameron and May at every opportunity.

No need for the "on BCB" caveat.

In this case, well-merited.

That's down to jukeboxes, and indeed the Americans who adopted it as standard. Why, I'm not sure, but it probably seemed like a good idea at the time. Rest of the world went with small hole suitable for autochanger spindles

Why is being "nearsighted" not "farsighted" and visa versa.

Joe Rogan had on physicist David Sinclair to explain stuff like the expanding universe and the big bang and though Sinclair spoke English words in perfectly formed sentences he nonetheless made no sense.
