Top turn, RIP.

We saw him in panto* in Lewisham (I think) some time in the mid 70s.

*luckily I noticed that the spell check had changed that to panties!

I remember the comedy show, "It Ain't Half Hot, Mum", from my time in Brighton in the 70s. He even went on Top of the Pops with Don Estelle, an unlikely hit duet called "Whispering Grass". RIP
