Pity really, you’re missing out on a couple of sloop’s scintillating food threads.

I was reading some threads there again the other day and two things struck me: some of them were better than what we've had here recently, and the posters on most of the threads seemed to be the same half dozen or so guys endlessly commenting.

I guess they've found paradise.

The dickhead didn't invite me. Maybe he's just prejudiced against cats. I wonder if he invited Foxhound?

I see his sycophant Clive Gash is a proud member though.

Well you could try being more welcoming of newcomers. Ever thought of that?

My word! You mean Goat Boy in some sort of uncharacteristic fit of pique sometime somewhere intimated that he thought some certain additional Government legislative initiative might be unwarranted?! Say it ain't so!

Precisely. It's only a message board. I haven't forgotten though that you yourself got so hot and bothered about the flea-bitten one's postings that you started a thread about getting him banned. What was that all about then? Simple hypocrisy on your part?

Your old lady letting you wear the trousers tonight?!

Too busy shouting at the neighbours from the porch I suppose.

Don’t worry, I’ve started a Word Association section on Red Lupin, why not drop by?

Bring THE MAN too, plenty of lagers to go round.

Bit too wordy but not bad, not bad overall. Seems that even a creaking old dog such as yourself can pick up new tricks over time.

Hang on. DD isn't there? I thought everyone was there and it was just Googa, Carlsson and two more who remained stranded on the good ship BCB?

What is going on?

I am stranded too.

Grand total of eight new music posts in the last four days - two of them by obvious aliases.

Not quite the new Jerusalem Coan and Skope would try and have us believe.

I wonder how many posts they've made on BCB in the past week?

A lot more than eight, I'll be bound.

Probably be able to make even more if Skope could drag himself away from coming all heavy manners on
those entering and leaving the local butchers' shop.

In the 96 hours between 9am on 28 Sept and 9am this morning, there were actually 79 new posts in the music section of Preludin - some of them quite long, interesting and/or amusing ones :-) – in ten different threads: I just counted them. I might be a few out either way, but, as of this moment, guests can still view all threads in the Music section, so anyone who wishes to can check and correct me.

Also, there are no aliases on the board (well, I have a couple, but I haven't used either in weeks). Some may post there under different names from the ones they use over here, but then again, some people here change them from time to time, don't they? and there are a few members who've never been BCBers.
