Modesty Forbids

I'd go along with that BUT there are two glaring omissions: Quaco and JSJ/Bent Fabric. Neither post as often as they did but they're beautiful, wise men.

Good points on both: JSJ was the last not to make the cut, and deserves to be there, while I haven't seen much from Quaco recently – he doesn't tend to vote in the cups – so didn't really consider him

Revised list

Top ten 'best' (entertaining and/or insightful and/or stylish and/or funny) writers currently regularly posting in BCB who aren't me (no order)

Darkness Fish
Goat Boy
Davey the Fat Boy
The Modernist
Sneelock

Gash
kath
toomanyhatz

Oh sure, but what I was listing were current regular posters whose idiosyncratic styles appeal to my somewhat skewed tastes. PC isn't around that much, and he tends to post on threads about musical artists I either dislike, or am indifferent to, so I don't always read them.
I should point out that there's way more than ten posters in that category, including yourself and several aliases. Although you wouldn't guess it from what Rayge normally writes, because that's his style, there's far more people on the board that I feel warmly towards than those I actively disdain.

Heaps of great writing on here. Too many really talented folk to single anybody out, but, that said, I love it when a thread idea takes and the penks and Moddies of the world climb on and just let the rope wind right the fuck out. Geraint in particular has amused the bejesus out of me so many, many times with genuinely good writing.

I have never been a regular poster but I have consistently lurked and always find something somebody can be proud of.

Except from Copehead. He is a monstrous cocknozzle. A continuing sign of God's mysterious love and benefaction.
Goodness gracious me.

Weirdly enough I was just exchanging some crocodile and alligator puns to a friend via text about an hour ago. He sent me this picture of an alligator utterly destroying some crocs.
