I've never been to either, strangely enough, I thought I'd been to most places in northern England and Wales. That looks like an artist's impression of a dream of Workington as paradise though, it must be grimmer than that. My nickname at school for a while was Tydfil (because my surname's Mercer).
Like fast-moving clouds casting shadows against a hillside, the melody-loop shuddered with a sense of the sublime, the awful unknowable majesty of the world.
