Picasso isn't it?

Or possibly Richard Wilson at a fancy dress party, dressed as JR from Dallas on holiday in France.

One of those two I think.

I've had mostly athletes as my avatar, but I used to use Flavor Flav in a Santa hat for Xmas. I also used Snoopy's Joe Cool character for a long time.

I change my signature every once in awhile.

Muskrat used to have a great dancer avatar.

Avatars are like fridge magnets, I think. You can't have too much depth in them as they're too small. The more "superficial" the image, the better.

Yes, Fava Flav was the one I saw.

And still does! - though now it's got an ugly Photobucket watermark obscuring part of it.

Clearly Richard Stilgoe, stop taking the piss.
Like fast-moving clouds casting shadows against a hillside, the melody-loop shuddered with a sense of the sublime, the awful unknowable majesty of the world.

I knew that reminded me of something...

...the BBC reporter who interviewed a Tory MP in his office in parliament. Noticing a large picture of Ken Dodd, he said that he, too, was a great fan and had often seen him perform. The MP said coldly: "That is my wife."

How about the phenomenon where you see an album or photograph in another place and immediately think of the BCB person instead of the artist? (The Slider, Diamond Dog's picture of Jimmy Page, etc.)
