fave BBC journo
I've included Paxman, who doesn't 'do' politics any more, and Dimbleby, who's on his way out - because they're both major, recent figures.
I haven't included Humphrys 'cos nobody likes him.
I've missed out a few, no doubt.

Yeah, where's John Pilder and Philomena Cunk?
Could only vote for Paxo and Wark out of that lot, and then more for being presenters than journos - I don't know if I've mentioned this before but I don't do news / current affairs on TV, at least, not enough to judge.

Emily Maitlis for her interview with The Mouche in 2017
You had to see it at the time though, Live, which I was lucky enough to catch. Great stuff!
Youtube doesn't really do it justice.

Nonsense to the aggressiveness, I've seen more aggression on the my little pony message board......I mean I was told.

I miss Paxman. We could use him today.
I like Kirsty Wark. Andrew Neil too. Marr seems a bit soft these days. Dimbleby has that old school authority about him
I'm not that familiar with the rest.

I used to live around the corner from Andrew Neil.

Well, if a self-deprecating answer explaining why I can't work up the usual 500 words of deathless provokes a hissy fit, probably best I don't tell you what I really think... except that Goat Boy has done it already, to the person. Wark and Paxo should walk this

John, you've missed out Robert Peston. He made his bones on BBC.

I really like Ritula Shah who does radio 4s The World Tonight, most nights. I never manage to listen to it live, but I play it most mornings when I have my 0430 shower

His documentaries on the history of the UK are excellent. As an interviewer, he's a bit of a wet lettuce.

We don't really see much of Kate Adie these days, unless I've missed her ?
Channel 4's Lindsey Hilsum seems to have taken over the TV news mantle from the hot spots round the globe.

Not after this morning. Quite a bit of fuss on social media
