Whiz Comics #2
Cover price: 10 cents
1972 Overstreet price: $235
2018 Overstreet price: $270,000

First appearance of Billy Batson AKA Captain Marvel.

Captain Marvel would go on to become one of the most popular superheroes of the 1940s, even outselling Superman at times.

Whiz Comics #2 is actually the first issue of this comic book series; the two previous #1's, Flash Comics and Thrill Comics, were published as ashcans by Fawcett to sell ad space. Fawcett later made the mistake of running the second published issue of Whiz also with a #2, therefore one must specify the first issue as #2 (#1) accordingly. The Captain Marvel group of titles is in reprint limbo now, with DC having aborted their Archives and Gwandanaland compromised by copyright issues, but we can still hope for Omnibus editions from DC, so write to them and tell them how you feel!

I've got more Disky product

a label like Dutch Disky

One comp to avoid, though, is Disky's "Best of the 70's"

Normally, Disky are clever at repackaging
