That the Blair administration cosied up to the powerful and pretty much looked the other way to any misdemeanors shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. But you were using the present tense and talking about the current Labour Party.

In legal terms, it is right. It is correct. It may be morally wrong, but these rich powerful people have no moral compass. Just greed. The law allows for anyone with enough money to buy the silence of victims. You may not like it , but it is the law.
