Nothing, you say?

Of course.

Embarrassing really.

Not really. We don’t have moderators. We have admins. Their job isn’t to police the board.

And I really don't know how many bloody times I have to say it.

Admins are pretty much there to do the thankless, tedious job of holding the (numerous) spammers at bay.

The idea that any of us should "do something" about tedious schoolyard name-calling is preposterous. And while I'm not taking sides on this particular bout of BCB gazing at its own navel, I will point out that K was another person that needed to be constantly reminded of what we actually do with our (volunteer) time.

Fair enough. But if you honestly see it as nothing more than tedious name calling then it would be a pretty pointless exercise having you as anything more than a spam checker anyway.

But I absolutely respect your volunteer time going into propping this place up. For what it’s worth.

Well as that's all I signed up for, great.

Without condemning or defending anyone, K is not a preteen with his first phone and probably doesn't want to be thought of that way.

Interesting that he went for a largely white brutally repressive organisation. Got something against the Tonton macoute, John?

Just saying...

The evidence does seem to be stacking up.

Jefferson's is Whitehaven's main tourist attraction - there's a thing called The Rum Story that brings in MILLIONS to the town

Boothby Graffoe (the vaguely nearly famous comedian, not the town)
The Phil Ochs festival - I'm followed by an entire festival, ffs!
And Bad Record Covers.

Yet somehow I'm a twitter minnow, with just 110 followers.

I have 18 followers

But it's quality not quantity!

I think the last time I posted on Twitter was about eight years ago.

I've just had a quick - very quick as it goes - check through all my followers and John Otway is also one!

2 out of 18! That's a nearly 10 percent quite famous quotient!

Blimey, I haven't worn DMs since the early 90s. I'd ask for them back, if I were you.

Btw, I once had a joke retweeted by David Baddiel, with his mega-gazillion followers. Not a single extra person followed me.
