Markus has left before, but he always comes back.

I think the consensus is that we'd like him back.

Doesn't seem to have flounced - just stopped posting.

Wasn't there some to-do about someone hijacking his name and avatar?

Quite probably.

Some wag probably thought it was hilarious.

I don't know if this would particularly bug him that much. Mark tended to roll with the punches pretty well, considering.

I gave him a rash of shit on the NBA thread, which is basically me, him, WG Kaspar, and Heifer, sometimes. Not that he didn't deserve it.
Don't fake the funk on a nasty dunk!

It takes a big man to cry, but it takes a bigger man to laugh at that man.

Is this where the male Heathers hang out ? I'm toying with the notion of who might be playing Winona Ryder's role.

No disrespect or offence to those posting in good part and in the right spirit.

Anyway, I for one would be glad to see him return as he is missed.

Serious business.

Yes, best do that before the police get involved.

John, are you ok?

Please let us know if there’s anything we can do.

Someone = John Coan

Funny that.

I have just discovered that the fake Markus account was not John as I had suggested. Rather than delete the post (although I will if he asks me) I would like to apologise to John for suggesting it was him.

JQW rather suggested that it was: viewtopic.php?f=47&t=138389&p=3960174#p3960174
Like fast-moving clouds casting shadows against a hillside, the melody-loop shuddered with a sense of the sublime, the awful unknowable majesty of the world.
