It's astounding how long this drags on for an issue that is no more than a simple ABC

And yet a development that is sure to feature prominently in future History books.

As we now seem to be simply retreading Michael Jackson's Greatest Hits, perhaps we should all follow Parliament's example and beat it for the next 12 days

Oh I don't know, how many people recall this is the 2nd time UK wants to back out of the EU ? Funny enough the previous time it was under Labour government.

Politicians have you believe that it's all complex to validate their existence. Human Nature I guess.

The problem is the every politician has another agenda they want to use the Brexit debate to leverage. Not one of them is actually interested in just sorting out the deal. They all have something else they are trying to get. As a result the whole thing has become a stalemate, not just at a party level, but at individual mp level. Every single one of them is a cunt.

It only becomes important when it's down to just a few days away - then it's all panic stations.

My local council (South Oxfordshire District Council) are sending out their poll cards for the European Elections on 23rd May... Royal Mail deliver them, plus the vast majority of the candidates election material. As such - no one knows if we are using the Westminster or EU constituencies for the forthcoming elections.

Corbyn seeks to make Euro elections about social justice, not Brexit, as he launches Labour campaign

Good luck with that one!

And to think there are those that say Corbyn is well meaning, but not a little naïve and dim at times.

Brexit party polling 34% of the vote in European Elections and 23% at Westminster.

Are the European Elections essentially a moratorium on a potential 2nd referendum? ie if the Brexit party poll well, that will surely kill off any chance of one?

There's no elections for Westminster, so no matter how they do in the EU, they'll still have not one MP in Parliament and (therefore) no say whatsoever in a second referendum (unless that takes another two years or so).
