Circumstances that a nice Linen suit and a Panama hat were made for surely?

skirts. You on't have to bother with all that tiresome palaver of putting one foot in front of the other and having to balance on one foot as you do with putting on trousers. Honestly who needs it!

I really like men's cargo trousers to loaf around in loosely at home and I also have a couple of pairs for work only, as I need the pockets.

It's impossible to buy them for women anymore so I've gotten some from Gap, Next and M&S men's departments over the years in the shortest leg length available. The store fellas from M&S embarrassingly ushered me two floors down to the ladies changing rooms to try 'em on for size. Man at Next was quite cool about where I changed but I think I took him by surprise at 10.05 in the morning when the store had just opened.

I try to avoid wearing shorts in public when possible, although I might wear them if I'm just out walking the dog.

I've got a black pair and a blue pair of slim-fit jeans that I wear for work and going out, a pair of white jeans for occasional summer wear, and I recently bought a pair of slim blue chinos online that turned out to be made of some bizarre futuristic fabric that I'm not certain I like, but they look good so I guess I'll keep them.
If you've got nothing to do, don't do it here.

I'm with John on this one btw. Shorts usually look slovenly. There's a few I don't mind if they're well cut.

The ones Dougie's wearing are terrible though, like Gerry Garcia on a bad trip.

To his credit, Jerry Garcia probably never wore shorts.

The Inbetweeners audition didn’t go well.

Last week, LeBron James wore this short suit into the NBA finals arena. I think this looks very stupid.
