No there the overwhelming evidence in those cases was correct, it was religious dogma that was wrong.
I take the point, but even then just because sometimes people get things wrong, or lie, doesn't mean Jimbo is getting them right.
There is probably a fancy name for that sort of fallacy.
Jimbo is just furthering the aim of the right of eroding people's trust in evidenced based policy, "they are all as bad as each other", "you can't trust anyone", "follow your gut instinct"; the pandering to the lizard brain.
Actually they aren't all the same, some of them are trying to further the interests of a narrow band of wealthy people and some of them aren't.
