You could bounce there though, if the swelling stays.

Glad you're on the mend, and seeing the funnier side.
Like fast-moving clouds casting shadows against a hillside, the melody-loop shuddered with a sense of the sublime, the awful unknowable majesty of the world.

It's a testicle to his resilience. :D

In all seriousness, hope you mend quickly.

Well I was feeling sorry for myself at this point. Thankfully I'm at home, struggling to walk and full of blood and terribly down about missing work and possibly that interview. But I will get better. God knows when but I won't be cycling to John O'Groats anytime soon.

Thanks for all your good wishes, gang.

Get well soon, hope you make that interview and sit down with barely a wince.
You have certainly put my mind to rest about vasectomies.
Not a fucking chance.

I’d chance it, just to take responsibility. Do my bit.

Good luck K/Darryl!

Feel better Mr. Strawberry.

I had a similar experience. I went to the only doctor my insurance covered. During the procedure (for which I was awake), the guy actually continually said things like “whoops” (which would have been comical in any other context). The procedure took more than an hour - and the bruising was so bad that the staff of an entire emergency room gathered around to look at it when I went in two weeks later due to pain that had gotten so bad I couldn’t sleep. To a person, they all said it was one of the worst things they’d ever seen (which was amazing, given what they all did).

Thankfully it’s been 15 years and everything works fine. But I’ll never forget.

In reality, I've never had a vasectomy and won't. For awhile, my wife was bugging me to because all the husbands around us were having them.

But this is just the reason I never had it done.

I read a thing a few years ago that said for a few percent of patients the pain would be permanent and lifelong.
