That sounds kind of fun, converging on a small, low-profile place. What's the humblest JU ever, defined as a meeting of at least three BCB people with the intent of having a sociable jolly-up (rather than going to a concert)?

Never managed a threesome JU in Hong Kong. It's either been me and Teabag, me and Fuery, me and Thesiger or me and Fange.

Copehead's boat was once in Victoria Harbour but he couldn't get a bum boat to shore.

If you really want everyone to have a JU, why don't youse all do a massive skype group type thing from your own respective homes. Get the beer and food and more beer in and go nuts in your own home.

I have heard reports of individuals turning up for these things and being deliberately ignored by other individuals. Like, a conscious effort, avoiding eye contact etc. How fucking childish is that?

Do tell.

My experiences have been quite the opposite. Always friendly and good humoured. The only unpleasantness was the whole Geisha girl thing, but that was 16 years ago... and maybe the whole PB and C mess. But that was all a bit strange.

I've seen some unpleasant Youtube footage from a northern event of people bitching about people who weren't present.

There have been three threesomes (oo-er missus) at my place, not counting Stalky the Paranoid Pooch (whose contribution never gets beyond a whole lot of wagging and licking) and Miss Thang, who managed to miss all of them: Rayge with Copehead and Deebank; with Polishgirl and Phil T: and yomp and Jumper K.

How jolly they were, given the attendees had to drive here, it was in the day, and I don't do booze, I can't say ;)

Loosely anything above the Trent.

Could just have been me and my webcam.
Like fast-moving clouds casting shadows against a hillside, the melody-loop shuddered with a sense of the sublime, the awful unknowable majesty of the world.

I nearly made it
I was having tea at 6 and going to the theatre to see Nine Night with my partner and I though I could squeeze in a quick visit but when I saw Mike wasn't going to be there and just about everyone else was turning up after 6I canned it.

I will turn up again some day.
