Like I said before. This was no mere parody but a nasty, cowardly attack on another poster. It had the result of confusing people and thinking GM had started some of those threads. I accept Bent Fabric's point about GoogaMooga not needing any help, but this fake account (I don't want to call it an alias) was a long way from Lol Imho and the Emoticons or Peter Noone.

Oh, I totally understand your view on that. What I'm asking is why you're dredging up old news as if it's in any way relevant to the return of 'Skope. What exactly are you asking anyone to do about it now, and why?

Yes, I brought it up in the context of you suggesting that it led (directly or indirectly) to Googa's ban. It didn't. I don't know how many times I have to say that.

I didn't dredge it up.
You did.

To which you preceded to say it would serve the board at large (not just you) to know who created the alias. How would it serve the board?

You also repeated that the mods are in some way culpable for Googa's banning. How are they (we) culpable?

The same way you(they) are culpable for Skope's banning, one assumes?!

Actually, no. It's because they should have been able to find out which IP was used for the fake GM account, and see which other poster it was and put a stop to it.

I am conjecturing that the fake GM account played a part in the banning. Either directly, or by exacerbating GM to the point of (more) idiocy (than usual).

And, no, I don't have direct proof. I've been through this many, many times. I've given up. It feels like
Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

And how would we have gone about putting a stop to it? Even if it was our job to do so, which I repeat (again), it isn't?

And how would knowing who created the alias prove that it had anything to do with the banning? ONE person makes those decisions. And if we can figure out who created the alias so can he. That's why I say it's insulting to suggest otherwise.

Is this the annual "the sewer has backed up" season?

Anybody got a good plumber they want to call?

So the Tory-boy Mod from Valencia is off his medication and back on BCB. I thought we'd never see any more posts about mediocre non-entities like The Honeybus. Just ignore him and in due course he'll implode yet again.

Diamond Dog wrote:I'm assuming you meant to include Adam in it too, as it is he who is making the wild claims around which poster (ie- me) contacted which admin (both Jethro & The Prof, apparently) about getting him banned. And then pm'ed me twice to 'get me to fess up' too.

Is it okay to throw that kind of accusation around - I wonder what the board thinks?

Diamond Dog wrote:I've not suggested you have exacerbated/encouraged the chat around Gash's assertions about any conspiracy re Skope.

So, basically, you're denying things you've never been 'accused' of in the first place.

Unlike when Gash directly accused me of conspiring/encouraging by PM the banning of Skope.

There's quite a difference.

And please let me know when I'm expected to do something other than point and laugh.

What and when would be helpful also. Thanks in advance.
