judging people

Postby CAN » 10 Nov 2017, 12:54

We all do it.

I guess that 90% of BCBers think people who vote Tory are wankers.

If someone raves about Top Gear to me - that’s worse.

I've learned, no matter how hard, not to judge people within the first minutes. I must add I mean people that I will have to work with or meet on a regular basis. If they're acting the cunt, they might simply be having a bad day. So for example, Coan's being having a bad day for the past ten years or so, I don't hold it against him.

Speak for yourself. I've never judged anybody in my life.

I'm certainly judging you right now though

I saw a kid in town the other day with a “Make America Great Again” hat. He looked about 18.

Of course I judged him.

There’s degrees of course and some peoples prejudices are more virulent than other obv. I may judge people but I’m also perfectly pleasant (ish) to people when I meet ‘em regardless. I try to give people a chance but I wouldn't go out my way to chat to the lad in the Trump hat that's for sure. A lot of this stuff is superficial and harmless

I draw the line at Mumford and Sons fans though.

We have a tendency to think nice looking people are actually nice

Talking from experience that's not the case, not everyone thinks I'm nice.

It is entirely natural to make some sort of judgement on someone. We do it all the time.

I judge everybody all the time, especially when I'm walking down the street. Most everyone can fuck off.
If you've got nothing to do, don't do it here.

“With a mere ninety break-horse-power available, progress is too leisurely to be called fast, but on the motorway in fifth gear the Megane’s slow pace really becomes a pain. Uphill runs become power-sappingly mundane, while overtaking National Express coaches can become a long, drawn-out affair.” Not my words, Carol. The words of Top Gear magazine.

Yes, I judge people.
