I could see SCTV doing something like this. Something involving Lola Heatherton and Bobby Bittman.

But really - that photo. This dude is just a few years older than me. He's not even 60, and he looks 70. I hadn't seen any recent photos of him. It's a little disturbing. I'm no spring chicken, but jeez.

I’m disturbed to discover that Christopher Plummer is Canadian. Huh. Always thought he was a Brit. But I think I tend to confuse him with Charles Dance :?

This has been on the horizon for a few months now.

He won't comment on it.

The strange thing about this particular case is that he was the sort of comedian who'd joke and comment openly about his sexual peccadilloes. OK, some of them were fictionalised in his shows, but still...you think the worst sorts are the ones who appear squeaky clean, you know?

This bothers me far more than Spacey, somehow. I was a fan of Louis' comedy and admired the way he talked about all kinds of things middle-aged men might only think about.

There were some scenes in the last couple of series of Louie that you had to watch through your fingers, but now I'm thinking that they really were based on his life, and it's both shocking and disappointing.

What strikes me, and I don't know how to take it, is he's supposedly a very good dad to his daughters and shares joint custody. That will be gone soon.

But it also seems to strike me that guys forget that women are daughters and sisters too when distinguishing their "peccadilloes" from how they relate to their own families. It's fucked up.

My understanding is it's been bubbling under for quite a bit longer than that and that he has responded.

I haven't seen the latest twist though. I'd be hugely disappointed because I kind of buy into, or at least enjoy, his schtick.

Regardless, this trend will cut both ways (I'm looking at you, Roy Moore), but surely for the best, for all concerned, to have serial sexual predators of every stripe removed from the playing board.

EDIT:
So it’s not real? “No.” he responded. “They’re rumors, that’s all that is.”

Up until now, anyway, there haven't been any accusers, only rumors.

Louis C.K's pr rep is named Lewis Kay?

Is this like when Donald Trump pretended to be his own representative or is there some sort of name shortage in the US right now?

Weird that being unapologetic about your arseholery somehow absolves you of it in the eye of the great unwashed. One dude loses the lot, the other becomes POTUS - the fucking court of public opinion, eh. Dodgier than a Sunday night tasting plate.
Good.

What this country needs is an asshole and we've found the biggest one there is!

People don't always need their politicians to be likeable. Celebrities? I think we need to like those cunts a bit more.

I've never seen any of Louis C.K's standup but I was aware of rumours.

I've never even seen a clip of him perform.

I'm pretty behind the times when it comes to telly. I don't watch many shows you know

There was always something that put me off C.K, I don't know what, kinda like James franco. Just didn't take to the guy.
