Happy Birthday, Pippa. Drink cocktails, eat cake and behave disgracefully.

Just like every other day.

Thank you, ladies and gentlemen. I've had a very relaxing day off work, and Mr PG treated me to a totes delicious lunch at my favourite cafe- Middle Eastern food heaven ! No cocktails till Friday, when we're having a collective birthday works outing. Xx

Hey, happy birthday.
Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Which one is that, Pippa – we're in Exeter tomorrow and looking for a vegetarian lunch?

New Horizon on Longbrook St, the road that runs down behind John Lewis. Looks like nothing from the outside but the food is all made by the brothers who own it. My charming dining companion enjoyed kofta lamb meatballs. In terms of veggie fare, I recommend the vegetable curry or a mixed platter with your falafel, baba ganoush etc. Less than £7 for a main.
