SECRETS of CHINESE COOKING

Postby The Beatles » 03 Jun 2017, 13:07

This stuff's great:

Pour a couple of tablespoons in at the end, once you've fried your chicken breast, cashews, spring onions, onion, red pepper, chillies and garlic.

What've you got?

Looks like fish sauce?

I find sesame oil really gives dishes an authentic flavor. But just a small amount - it's quite strong.

It's oyster sauce. But you've got to get that brand.

Sesame oil is great stuff, yeah. Wonderful aroma.

Lester Bangs? The fifty something Facebook rock bores (but of course, they've always been into Nile Rogers too ;)) are more into David Hepworth.

Oyster sauce is essential, but I've never seen that particular brand, and it's difficult to find one that doesn't have any added MSG.
If you've got nothing to do, don't do it here.

A Chinese meal is like a swordfight...you must think first, before you move

anyway, the real secret ingredient: MSG!!

I see Harvey has mentioned this stuff already
Let U be the set of all united sets, K be the set of the kids and D be the set of things divided.
Then it follows that ∀ k ∈ K: K ∈ U ⇒ k ∉ D

It's great!

Those massive bags of Doritos that you can't stop eating? MSG!

Anyway. Anyone been to the Chinese supermarket lately? I made chicken chow mein yesterday but it was lacking something
