Adult babies - not a shallow reason. Not saying I've dated one, thank god.

Inability to not talk about her job at Epitaph Records and all the punk rockers she had met.

Gawd, are you ever gonna let that go? Sorry you had to find out the hard way, but my musical integrity is not as easily bought as I am.

Mate, you voted for a list with Love Shack in it.

Think about that for a minute.

Strangely obsessed with anything Disney.

Consistently forces you to listen to radio hits.

Not my reason, but someone else's. I was visiting with a friend I hadn't seen in years, and we had dinner with her boyfriend. Later, I told her that he seemed like a nice guy.

"He is, he's great... but I don't think it's going to work."

"Why not?"

"Well, everything is great, but... his record collection... I dunno..."

"If that's the only problem, I'm sure it's something you can --"

She cuts me off and says in all seriousness, "No... Richard, you don't understand... he has Peter Cetera solo albums."

I would have been a terrible marriage counselor!

Before we started dating, my wife once walked out on a date when the guy referred to Bruce Springsteen as "the Boss."

I once found out the girl I was chasing around had tried to run over her last boyfriend with her car. That wasn't what made me lose interest though. She wanted me to play with her feet... and then go home. I can't help but think that's what started the argument that led to the other guy getting run over.

I started wondering about the last relationship I was in because she started bugging me about wearing baseball caps when I was inside. She did this twice. I didn't blame her when she found out I smoked, but she also started thinking I smelled like smoke when she hadn't noticed before.

I could tell she was starting to find reasons to peck at me. It's funny because she did a lot of things I just overlooked because they didn't seem that important.

The good thing is I did quit smoking and haven't smoked for five months now. And I'm not going out with her.
