I bet you ten dollars Baron was the person who voted awesome sauce.

Empowered, just because it's one you're mostly likely to hear in business. The other ones are bad, but I don't hear them anymore.

Transparent is the other one i'd add. I hate that fucking phrase. It's just a fancy way of saying "clear" and businesses will never really be truthful to either employees or the public, so why pretend?

sadly, I've made my peace with "Peeps". it's been annoying me for years. the phrase doesn't seem to be going anywhere. it's some consolation to imagine the "peeps" being referred to as the marshmallow Easter basket candies of my youth.

as for the rest, "empowered", "brain fog" and "you got this" - as annoying and overused as they are seem born of good intentions.

that leaves us with "awesome sauce". If you've ever heard anyone say it as an exclamation, I'm sure you'll share my opinion that "annoy" is a very weak word choice.

I've never heard it used except in a commercial with twin sisters.

You left "boils my piss" off the list.

"Peeps," because I hear people actually use this one. "Awesomesauce" would be more annoying if I ever heard people outside of television uttering this.

'Awesome sauce' because it's kind of visually gross in addition to being facile and meaningless.

I've never heard 'brain fog' used, except maybe just someone saying they're feeling foggy or their brain is in a fog. I had no idea it's a thing.

I actually think 'you got this' is cute. I always think of a puppy meme:

I'm not going to excuse OTT affirmations simply because there is a small dog attached!

I am sad that "moving forward" is not on the list.

Of these, "awesome sauce" is particularly awful - ugly, OTT AND meaningless! No amount of puppies (or even kitties - that's how serious it is) can fix that level of awfulness.

You might even say it's awful sauce! But I hope you won't.

As am I but today I'm plumping for "Empowered."
I don't hear any of the others said, to be truthful.

To use another overused phrase, "You had to go there, didn't you?"

We get "empowered" at work a lot. What they mean by that of course is management not actually managing people. It makes me want to puke.

I've seen "I Got this" in relation to celebrity addiction issues. It's enough to make you pray for an overdose.

I'm not familiar with the rest.

I went with 'empowered' since it's most typically used to sell a corporate idea of feminism. Awesome sauce sounds like something out of a Disney Channel kids show. I've never heard it or read it anywhere that I can recall.

A few more that annoy me:

Snowflake
Libtard
Safe space

^conservatives are so tiresome and unoriginal

Also:

Robust

It seems to be a favorite amongst every hack political pundit.

Ooooooh, you dare not violate the sanctity of "Robust" on BCB, Pres.
Tread carefully.
