Are you tidy?

Postby PresMuffley » 18 Mar 2017, 21:00

I am. Having everything squared away gives me a certain peace of mind. I don't feel I'm obsessive about it but it's hard to say...

I am now, but wasn't when I was a teenager. The only line of the rug you could see was from the door to my carpet and I was so lazy, I slept in a sleeping bag so I didn't have to make the bed.

My mom and dad made my brother and I clean the rest of the house on the weekends though.

Maybe that's why it stuck - I cleaned the house, top to bottom, when I was married every other weekend for 25 years.

I think people would think my apartment, where it's just me, is clean.

I'm better than I was, but I don't have the eye for microscopic dirt that my wife has. She'll say "this room is a shitpit" and I'm like "what?"

I am the polar opposite of tidy.

Although I can usually remember which pile of 'stuff' contains what I am looking fro at any given time.

I can be, and do enjoy getting rooms up together, but it isn't a priority.
My current lifestyle precludes it rather.

What, living with me?
You're busy with the garden and records, I know. But you do tidy up, which is a delightful change (from others) for me.

I am, but not overly so. I like everything in its place, and I like the place clean. At the moment we are in the middle of redecorating the downstairs rooms, so it is absolute chaos, and everything is everywhere. which is depressing.

I'm clean, I'll Hoover and dust and all that, but organisation has never been my strong point. Clutter is fine by me, I have plenty CD shelving, but there's a stack on a chest of drawers which need to evolve limbs to make their own way home. If I throw something onto a pile of stuff on an overflowing table, that table is multitasking just fine by me.

No, not at all. Just a reference to busyness and stuff and the disposing of various estates

Not tidy at all in terms of my room or home, however at work I like things in their own place or their "home" so to speak. Basically so I can reach for them without thinking.
