I get what's been said about intimidation, but I rarely feel intimidated by anyone. This probably has a lot to do with being a tall white guy. I'm much more likely to feel intimidated by a smart, beautiful, non-tattooed woman than I am some neo-Nazi asshole.

I'm just not impressed by them. One way or another they are done to provoke some kind of response-a challenge to the onlooker to make some kind of judgement.

I have never seen a tattoo anywhere that enhanced a person's beauty.

I try not to judge a book by its cover, but a facial tattoo just screams "look at me! I'm different and proud of it. And fuck you if you don't like it"

The only exception being tribal peoples, but there aren't too many of those around here.
