RIP Harry Sievey

Postby K » 14 Feb 2017, 22:48

Harry was the son of Chris Sievey, aka Frank Sidebottom. He was 24. I can't claim to have known him well, he came to a guitar club I ran at a school about 10 years ago. He was a nice lad, and was clearly one of the coolest kids in the school. All he wanted to do in the guitar club was play Oasis. All I could do was teach kids how to play a blues scale. He had a really expensive Les Paul signed by John Squire (I think). You can do if your dad's Frank Sidebottom.
He was well liked round our way.
RIP.

Fuck, that's both funny and heartbreaking at the same time.
Thanks for posting.
Think I'll take the kids to the Frank statue this weekend.
