I do despair sometimes that one of the only other people on this board that shares a rough political outlook with me is bloody Foxhound.

Generally quite far to the left, but I'm just much more apathetic than I used to be. Time was, I'd have gotten involved in political debate, marched for a cause, whatever. Now I'm just beaten down by life, and can't summon the energy or enthusiasm. So call me a centrist.

No, I'm quite happy with where I am. The right is not all swivel-eyed loons.

There are a lot of positions on the left that I'd happily share, but when push comes to shove on a lot of particular topics, I'm more likely to veer to a centre-right position.

Anyway, being left-wing is generally bloody boring. It's so dreadfully sanctimonious at times.

I guess I'll register Democratic Socialist. You're not allowed to be THAT Socialist in the USA, but I try.
I've worked for the Democrats, so there you are.
LEFT at any rate.
Let U be the set of all united sets, K be the set of the kids and D be the set of things divided.
Then it follows that ∀ k ∈ K: K ∈ U ⇒ k ∉ D

I'd take democratic socialism. I imagine being socialist leaning in parts of America is merely one step above being a paedophile

Somewhere between apolitical and far-left.
