I was all in, in 2008. I was resigned in 2016. Definite no next time around.

I was skeptical but willing in '16. I wanted Bernie, of course.

Regardless, going with "The Lady That The Right Has Been Beating Up On For Nearly Thirty Years" seems even sillier now than it did then.

I'd like to go on record. whoever the fuck the dems run in the general probably has my support. I say probably in case it's a bigger whack-job than Trump -- unlikely but you never know!
having said that, if they go with HRC or Biden I'd seriously like them to have their fucking heads examined.

this seems likely. Nancy Pelosi, in a preview of her renewed majority leader role is talking about how bi-paritisan the Dems are going to be & how much they are going to work with Trump. has she heard what Trump has to say about Democrats for the last year? are we going to do it all by ourselves? If he were to admit that Democrats are born naked like everyone else he loses his base. his political power is based on the assumption that Democrats are like scurvy. Running Hillary is like throwing Brer' Rabbit in the Briar Patch - it would be a GIFT.

If he and Stormy Daniels end up making a movie together I'm gonna check out on our civilization altogether.

But wait, a la Jimbo, is it a frame-up?

Those buffoons who were trying to take Mueller down with bogus #metoo allegations a couple of weeks ago appear to be taking credit for bringing about Avenatti's arrest.

(I've never heard of this website before.)

there must be a reason that Roger Stone is trying to hang this Randy Credico guy. He gave NBC some texts which show they were discussing the wikileaks dump and it's effect on the Hillary campaign well before it happened.

maybe he knows something we don't? it seems like he usually does.

Well, I thought it was funny:

https://www.theguardian.com/music/2018/ ... album-tour

“I think right now, it’s worse than the 60s because the guy we’ve got to deal with is worse,” 77-year-old Crosby says, alluding to Trump. “He’s more unrestrainedly bad. He’s like a spoiled child who got into his dad’s office and is peeing on all of the papers saying, ‘Ha, I’ll show you.’”

"Quite."

I wouldn’t hire that guy to do the paperwork for a pet adoption.

Me neither.

I thought they were kidding when they said he was thinking about it.

Really? Seems to me that gauche TV lawyer is a perfect foil for gauche TV President.

I wouldn't vote for him, but I'm cheering him on wrt the Stormy Daniels case.

Inasmuch as Trump/Avenatti's skirmishes are playing out on TV and in the court of public opinion rather than in an actual court, we don't need Oliver Wendell Holmes - we need a showboating, media-savvy personality to bait Trump into making mistakes and damaging admissions.

Avenatti's no white knight, but I reckon he's the man for the job.

well, at the very least he'll have to do until someone else comes along. Trump knows how to give the mainstream media shiny objects they can bat at for entire news cycles. So does that guy -- even now. I haven't seen the right wing talking heads so filled with glee since Alec Baldwin got in a fight over a parking spot.
