Since we are being pedantic here - I never characterized his Presidency as authoritarian. I characterized HIM as AN authoritarian.
Hitler’s reign probably couldn’t rightly be called fascist until the Reichstag fire - but he already was a fascist. Same here.
I would apologise if i was wrong. But as far as I can tell I wasn't - you were mischaracterising Trump as an authoritarian president, and from the beginning there was a contradiction there which is all that i was highlighting.
