Fake news instead of real criticism
by Denis Churilov, Australia

There are so many real things Trump should be criticised for, yet the mainstream media keeps making up stuff, producing fake stories and misreporting news about him. What for? Isn’t there already enough real material for the media to destroy him without repeatedly making fools out of themselves?

The most recent case was last week, when major American news outlets (including ABC News, CBS News, CNN, NBC News, as well as the Washington Post) reported that Trump called illegal immigrants “animals”, when in reality he was specifically referring to the members of MS-13, a criminal gang whose associates have been accused of beheading their victims.

Don’t they understand that, by fixating on minor things, taking remarks out of context, misreporting and blatantly making up stories, they only de-legitimise the anti-Trump movement?

Why do they have to lie? …

The reality is that those anti-Trump forces that lobby and sponsor the media actually support some a significant portion of the Trump Administration policies. As such, all major US news outlets applaud Trump when he fires rockets at Syria. The media don’t criticise Trump for selling weapons to Saudi Arabia, thus enabling the crisis in Yemen, because the US military-industrial complex makes hundreds of billions out of it (besides, being friends with Saudi Arabia helps the US-based financial institutions to maintain the petrodollar system).

The reality is that many of those in power who oppose Trump are complicit in many of his crimes; therefore, you are unlikely to see the mainstream media covering some of the most crucial issues. But they still want Trump out of the office, so they make stuff up to compensate for the lack of things they are allowed to talk about.

I like how Jimmy Dore joked that the Stormy Daniels story is not effecting Trump because 99% of guys are jealous because they'd like to fuck a porn star someday.

Let U be the set of all united sets, K be the set of the kids and D be the set of things divided.
Then it follows that ∀ k ∈ K: K ∈ U ⇒ k ∉ D

Oh, wow, I just read the passive-aggressive letter linked in that article. What an ass, our President.

He’s pissed because he got played.

He committed to a summit without getting Kin Jong Un to publicly agree that denuclearization was up for negotiation. Un just strung him along while he started looking for the right suit to wear for his Nobel speech - and then Un announced that nukes weren’t on the table.

Maybe having a State Department isn’t such a bad idea.

I don't see how anyone can look at the events as they are playing out in Korea and think that TRUMP is the one playing the winning hand.

I just found out that they're a "daily special" at the White House gift shop, just $19.95 marked down from $24.95, but I guess everybody else did as well, because their website is down. Damn. I wanted to buy one.

It is beyond me why this guy is still around: Blaming the "deep state," which his new secretary of state immediately contradicted existing, No. Korea, the Iran deal, ZTE, pretty obvious evidence of collusion with Russia affecting the election, kicking out selected press at press conferences, paying off mistresses with illegal campaign funds - where's the breaking point?

He's playing the "we are capable of bombing the shit out of you" card. It's all he's got. And most assuredly not what the world needs right now. God, if ever two leaders deserved each other. And if only they could meet in the alley after school and not take it out on the rest of the world.

I’ve looked deep into the dipsy-doodle eyes of many a TRUMP supporter and I’m of the opinion that there IS no breaking point. They have taken the blue pill. A truck full of cult deprogrammers couldn’t change their minds.

That certainly can't be a majority considering he didn't win the popular vote. It's Congressional Republicans I wonder about.

Malcolm Nance had a good line last night, and I paraphrase: "Back in 1780, Benedict Arnold wouldn't have known that his name would've been historically associated with being a traitor."

I don't know how Devin Nunes, Paul Ryan, etc., cannot not know that they are on the wrong side of history on this one.

Jimbo - There’s no way I’m watching another Jimmy Dore clip.

What is the allegation here?

The allegation is what we had mentioned before that the FBI put an informer/spy into the Trump campaign. That he was placed there before the Popdopolus (sp) incident which is what the media and HRC say tipped off the FBI to the Russian connection but that is wrong because it was this guy. That the same informer/spy had also been a spy in the Jimmy Carter (vs HW Bush) campaign indicating "deep state" involvement in more ways than we know. No matter if you think Trump/Russia deserved to be investigated this is actual conspiracy stuff that shouldn't be, that deserves prosecution.

Glad I didn’t waste my time then.

Don’t see any conspiracy. Trump had business dealings with shady people all over the world. Of course they were watching him.

For all we know, he still does. Ken Starr went from land deals to Bee-Jays. These things take on a life of their own.

All the Jimmy Dore clips lately have piqued my curiosity. Here’s a debate with Sam Seder (not a particular favorite of mine either, but MUCH smarter that the inept Dore).

Jimbo...you probably watched this at the time and agreed with every word Dore said. But revisit it now - now that we actually know what happened. In particular...pay attention to the exchange at 29 minutes in where Jimmy dismisses the possibility that McConnell would ever blow-up the filibuster.

This is the dummy you are listening to...
