Tulsi Gabbard may need to switch parties now. She’ll never be elected as dog catcher again as a Democrat.

From Doonesbury character Roland B. Hedley Jr.'s Twitter feed: "Years from now, Tulsi Gabbard, reflecting on this historic moment, will be able to tell her grandchildren that she was present."

David Remnick at the New Yorker has been on point for the duration of this administration.

Are you kidding? THIS is more RUSSIA! RUSSIA! RUSSIA! saber rattling bullshit. It used to be the right who didn't do nuance. This is how the author summed up the case against Trump without an ounce of nuance . None. My god. This is your source for information?

Trump, with the help of Rudy Giuliani and others, attempted to withhold hundreds of millions of dollars in military assistance to Ukraine, an ally under assault from Russia, as a way to extract a crude and distinctly personal political favor.

Arms which Obama wouldn't have sent at all. You know that! You know that! Whether or not Trump sought a favor is not my problem. It looks like he might have. Some nuance would help there too, however. But good but little guy Ukraine against big bad guy Russia, well there is a lot more to that story you should --- I'll bet you do --- know.

And then the writer flopped down this dead fish.

No one denied with any conviction that Trump had asked for foreign help in 2016 (“Russia, if you’re listening…”)

Trump was joking. And you know that, too! My god. What has happened to your brains. The body snatchers got you buddy.

I sentence you to a daily dose of Fault Lines with Nixon and Stranahan.

It's not often that I share (or for that matter, read) an article from Christianity Today, but... this was a little unexpected:

Trump Should Be Removed from Office

Interesting and very true from my far removed perspective.

How much sway does Christianity Today hold with the core support?

Other than the immovable zealots, that is.

It was founded by Billy Graham, so I would think it would have some cachet/influence. But I don’t really know.

Pelosi doesn't want to send the impeachment to the Senate. She says she won't get a fair trial from McConnell. I don't blame her. He's already said he's not impartial.

Did you guys see George Conway's new name for Trump? IMPOTUS.

Love it.

Then how about the Democrats doing some evangelizing themselves by shouting out actual policy like MFA and free college and doing it Chuck Berry "southern diplomat" style instead of in the half-baked bullshit (protocol) so loved by you Hillary fans.

The first operation originated in the country of Georgia and targeted domestic audiences. The second originated in Vietnam and the US and focused mainly on the US,

Mark my guess. Georgia and Vietnam are the next countries with which the US will be at some level of war in the near future.

So now that Trump has us on the brink of war - anyone want to take bets how you-know-who-and-his-sources will pin it on Hillary Clinton?

Pinning the assassination of the Iranian general on HRC I don't know about just yet, Davey m'boy, but what I did just learn was how your girl knew, she was fully aware of how our then (and now) BFFs Saudi Arabia and Qatar supplied weapons and money to ISIS and other Al Qaida offshoots in their drive to overthrow the secular Syrian government and create a Wahhabi caliphate in the region. See, the guy Trump just killed was the region's primary ISIS killer. Syria, Iraq and Iran are largely ISIS free thanks to that guy. And Trump killed him. My point here, Davey, is to show you how had HRC - and Obama of course - done the right thing back then and supported Syria and Russia and fought the actions of SA and Qatar there would be no need for Trump to have done what he done went and did. In fact the entire Syrian mess could have been avoided. Thanks Hillary! (She knew.)
