Enjoy the match, enjoy your meal, enjoy your day off, enjoy yourself etc etc but not 'enjoy'. Horrible. Makes my arse cheeks quiver.

But what if some smug twat (probably a chef) claps their hands and then says it? That's OK surely?

"Impactful".

I don't know that there's anything actually wrong with it, but there's something about it that usually sounds ridiculous to me.

Not sure this hasn't presented itself here before, but making a relationship with a client "sticky" is a turn of phrase that is getting my goad up.

There is something far worse than starting a sentence with "so"

And that is, "okay, so"

Or starting a reply in an interview with "Listen!"

Or worse " For sure "

Why did sportsmen begin starting every reply with " For sure "

And eventing is a perfectly cromulant word, it is what horsey types do at the weekend, or over a long weekend if it is 3 day eventing.

I said the word "Wangle" today, and was grossed out for the rest of the day. I don't know how it's never been called out before?
My epitaph, please
